Menopause The Musical® is a globally acclaimed musical comedy that returns to Sydney’s State Theatre from 19 September to 5 October 2025. Blending laughter with sisterhood, this production offers a humorous and uplifting night exploring menopausal themes like hot flashes and memory lapses through parodied hit songs from the 1960s to the 1980s.

Starring four leading performers, including Tara Morice from 'Strictly Ballroom', and Erika Heynatz, each actor portrays a character such as the Professional Woman and the Soap Star, delivering hilarious and heartfelt stories. The musical invites audiences to enjoy a night filled with relatable humor and shared experiences.

Since its 2001 premiere, the show has been wildly successful, playing to over 17 million people worldwide. It is Las Vegas’s longest-running musical praised for its empowering portrayal of menopause, encouraging women to embrace this life stage with humor and heart.

Performances in Sydney include evening shows most Fridays and Sundays at 7:30 pm, with matinees on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 2 pm. This feel-good theatrical event is perfect for groups of friends, offering upbeat music, comedy, and a great night out.

Children's Policy: Children under 2 years are admitted for free provided they do not occupy a seat. Strictly no standing or dancing is permitted in the Mezzanine and Dress Circle. Accessible Seating & Companion Card Holders: Some accessible seating can be purchased online. Bookings including a Companion Card ticket can only be collected from the Box Office. The Companion Card must be presented upon collection. Call Ticketmaster's Accessible Seating line on 1300 446 925 for Accessible / Companion Card & Hearing Loop bookings or information. There is a minimum of 20 stairs to the Dress Circle and Stalls. Patrons needing easy access seats should book for the Mezzanine. Row H has no stairs. There are 2 stairs per row from the back row (eg row G has 2 stairs, row F has 4 stairs etc)
