Switzerland-based Kristin Berardi’s star continues to rise internationally. Originally from Queensland, she is one of Australia’s most outstanding jazz vocalists, claiming 3 Bell Awards for Best Jazz Vocal album, the National Jazz Award for Voice, an ARIA nomination, a Churchill Fellowship; and winning the Montreux Jazz Festival’s International Jazz Vocal Competition in 2006. She is the only vocalist to have won the National Freedman Fellowship for jazz.
