Through Afghan Eyes

Muzafar Ali and Durkhanai Ayubi, speak with heart and emotion about recent events in Afghanistan and what can be done. Come and hear an Afghan perspective.
Muzafar Ali is a human-rights activist and a former United Nations political-analyst in Afghanistan. While living as a refugee he co-founded the first refugee-led school in Indonesia which he continues to support through his charity Cisarua Learning.
Born in Afghanistan, Ayubi was just one when her family fled the country in the mid-80s due to the Soviet-Afghan War. She is a writer, academic and restaurateur. The events of August 15th, 2021 changed the direction of her life forever.
