Do you enjoy drinking pinot noir and chardonnay? Treat yourself to an Old Word New World taste of South Australia’s best. The evening’s wines will include Ashton Hills, Tapanappa, Whisson Lake and BK Wines, plus an intriguing selection from some Burgundy’s most interesting sites.
This lavish six-course dinner at Hardy’s Verandah (Mount Lofty House) will demystify the differences in several Burgundian appellations, along offering insights on the evolution of local winemakers in producing Australian equivalents of these varieties. Be surprised with some tasty additions of aligoté and gamay.
This Tasting Australia event will be hosted by Burgundy expert and importer Alexandre Rougeot, who is flying from Melbourne to join wine director Liinaa Berry and take you on a memorable journey of senses and storytelling.
Food will be curated by head chef Jin Choi and expertly paired by Berry. Expect nothing less than a world-class event in a world-class venue.
